色彩もテンポもキャラクターも良いです。アニメならでわの迫力、そして爽快感でバトル物好きだったら楽しめる内容ですね。
シリーズ全体でいえばバトル＋ギャグ＋美少女モノなのですが、女性でも十分楽しめます。
というか、私はコミックの頃からファンです。初見でどんな物か様子見したい人はコミックをざっと読んでみるのも手でしょう。NEEDLESS 1 (ヤングジャンプコミックス)
ちなみに美少女モノと書いちゃいましたがＤＶＤ1巻はマトモ（っぽい）です。

戦闘物ですが
つねにピリピリしてるのではなく
ところどころに　面白いコメディみたいなのが入ります

それでいて戦闘シーンがおちゃらけたりはせず
殺伐としていたりと　なかなか面白いバランスでどんどん引き込まれます
