entertaining and insightful

I know Crash (aka Brent) from a motorcycle forum I frequent and have always found his musings to be entertaining, occasionally serious and often insightful. This book (I believe his first) is likewise entertaining, sometimes serious, insightful, and if read with the right mindset can cause you to think of things in a different light. Using motorcycles as a continuous thread, he brings up points which pertain to life in general. While not great literature, (it doesn't need to be) it is an enjoyable read with humorous stories of life as a teacher, camera operator, truck driver and a genuinely good person. I recommend this book if you are looking for an entertaining read.
Common sense knowledge we all seem to forget.

I have been a fan of the good Captains video series for several years. When I heard that he had a book out I was hoping that it would have the same common sense, right to the point feel as his videos do. It does, and has the same touch of humor as well. The stories are about life not just motorcycles and they are very interesting. Nonriders will find much to enjoy in this book as well.

I love the way Captain Crash has distilled and analogized bits of life and related them to bits of motorcycling wisdom. And vice versa. Interesting and fun to read.
