The variety of projects includes table runners, place mats, napkin rings, pot holders, coasters, basket cover and skirt, pin cushion, scissors case and pillows. An easy-to-read full-color chart and a full-color photograph are given for each of the 17 projects in the book. Materials needed include Monk's cloth, medium worsted weight yarn and a tapestry needle.

色合いが日本的でなくおおらかな感じがとても良いのですが説明が日本語でないので、少し手間がかかります。
材料が容易に手に入らないのが残念です。参考にして近い作品を直ぐに作りましたが、やはり風合いが違います。
洋書を購入して残念なことは日本では手に入らない材料が有ると言う事です。

Nice projects

I just received this book today and looked through it immediately. I'm new to using Monk's cloth and I'm glad I first bought Learn to Make Monk's Cloth Afghans where it tells you about preparing the fabric, several ways of finishing and instructions for more stitches. All the projects in this book show fringed edges but they can be hemmed for a different look. I do like the projects and patterns. There are large full color pictures of each project and the full page charts are also in color. A very well made book and certainly worth the price.

The patterns are attractive and easy to read. The colors are brllliant and appealing. Designs remind me of the ones my Mother used to make.

This book is really good for people that wants something more for weaveing. It was just what Amazon said it would be and I got it when they said I would. I am very happy with it.
