I'm on year 2 with these planners, as in I'm buying one for 2009 and used one in 2008. For me, my schedule isn't too complex so having a whole week at a glance is the way to go. I also like the hard cover as it stays in my jacket pocket better and got less beat up in my shoulder bag. (compared with the soft cover paperback books I read on the bus.)
I like having a small pocket in the back. I like the quality of the paper, they hold the ink well and don't bleed through too badly. Although it does a bit.
Con:
The ink is very light and in low light conditions with my aged eyes is a bit harder to read than I would like. But the page ruling is just fine, so in order to print it in one run I guess we are stuck.
Mine also came with a small address book, which if you have a lot of addresses isn't big enough but if you just want to add a new one and don't happen to have your full address book along, works fine. The time zone map is nice, as is the weights & measures, clothing sizes, dialing codes per country and a few blank pages in the back. Very handy book. (Beats those electronic calendars hands down for managing a basic dentist appointment, dinner engagement, school holidays & birthday reminder sort of life.)
