This is the first time I've tried Moleskine, when I got tired of my tacky 2010 planner. This is a very nice product, and I was looking for a planner that is compact and gives a panoramic layout (vertical-ruled rather than horizontal-ruled), and this one hit the jackpot.
Granted, it is quite tiny, with space that is pretty much the size of a 3x5" index card, and you have to have a tiny penmanship to be able to write all your stuff in it. But nothing much ever happens in a day for me, and I have a pretty tiny but relatively neat handwriting (I could go as small as 8 font size), so it is not an issue. Plus, I just like the fact that I am able to fill up the pages each week and not leave a lot of gaping blank spaces - those irk me because they make me feel less productive. OCD, I guess. :)
The notebook has a monthly view (composed of approximately 0.25 x 0.75" boxes per day of that month - really tiny), list of holidays, time zones, measurement conversions, international area codes, a little printed ruler, and blank pages for notes. Oh, and a tiny sleeve for your little coupons or receipts.
I would say this product is really not good for people who have a lot going on in a week (like event planners, admin assistants and such) and have bigger handwriting - I suggest you guys get a bigger notebook. While it may not be for everyone, it's an excellent quality product.
