Celebrating 30 years of the iconic "Pac-Man", Moleskine commemorates the hungriest video game hero with a set of limited edition notebooks. "The Pocket Plain Notebook" features fun fruits a hard yellow front cover with the text 'Insert Coin' on the back. It is enclosed with a black band showing the vast array of characters and the official "Pac-Man" Logo with 30th Anniversary text in both English and French. It comes complete with a yellow ribbon placeholder and elastic enclosure, plain pages and an expandable inner pocket and "Pac-Man" sticker inserts.

as a lover of moleskines for over a decade, when i found this pac-man pocket edition, i just had to have it.
as with all moleskine products, the construction is sound, however the cover is a bit weird. the yellow seems almost thin...like you can see the color of the underlying board beneath. this is a little disappointing, as i would have hoped the yellow would be more opaque.
that being my only gripe, allow me to focus on the good parts!
the cover has three icons on it (from top to bottom): cherries, an apple, and a strawberry, but it is the back cover that makes me giggle. centered on the back it says "insert coin." love it.
the extra bonus here is the two small sheets of pac-man stickers it comes with! one sheet has six round stickers (two pac-mans, two baddies, cherries, and a strawberry), and the other has 24 small round stickers (ten pac-mans, six baddies, a strawberry, cherries, a key, an apple, an orange or peach, a pear or a lemon, and two with just a pair of eyes). i'm a huge fan of stickers so this put me over the edge of pleased.
all in all, a completely solid purchase!
