Almost everything you would actually expect

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is in her final year at the Architecture School after debating with myself wether to choose the Hand of The Designer Moleskine or the Hand of The Architect by Moleskine. I went for the first option, giving into consideration that she is doing interior design at this time and the fact that this one has more pages and it's a little bit more expensive, therefore it should be somehow "better"; childish, I know :-). It turned out to be a great present, everyone back at her office was truly delighted about this.
Now for the package itself, you will find two items: one huge sketchbook (400 something pages) with all kind of sketches of various objects, all hand made; not original of course and one smaller sketchbook with blank pages ideal for drawings. This is the reason why I'm saying the package is almost everything you would expect, because we would expect to be honest a much more usable surface rather than a presentation of sketches. However for the money it's a good buy wether you are an interior designer or an full scale architect.

Design Sweetness.....great impact, quiet package.

Overall design and layout is well appreciated for those who absorb tantalizing details and images. Consistency on every page followed up by a wonderful opening that sets the tone for the sketchbook and leaves one inspired to create and design well after reading. Moleskine has finally reached it's niche market outside of sketchbooks, well detailed and designed companions for those who always have a pen in hand and an idea than needs to be sketched out!
