Ok cards but the CASE IS MADE OF THIN CARDSTOCk

I love index cards and use them for almost everything. Although I was intrigued by Moleskine Index Cards, the main reason I spent 9 bucks on this was that I believed it would come with a case made of similar material to a Moleskine. It is not. It is made of a fairly light black colored cardstock. Although the cards are nice, you only get 20 for nine bucks, and if you are after nice index cards, Levenger makes some you can often get cheaper that deal a lot better with different kinds of ink. What an incredible disappointment.
Cost and texture are deterrents

- These cards are really beautiful, especially their rounded corners
CON
- Pretty much the expensive cards you can buy anywhere.
- Some pens/ink write well on it but other pens don't. Was annoyed at first that my regular pen could not write on these at all ... it was like some kind of film was repelling the ink. Was looking for a way to unload the cards until I accidentally discovered that another pen wrote on them just fine. So far I have found 3 levels of quality with which a pen can write on these: hardly at all, legible but not great, and just fine.
FEATURES YOU MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE -
- They are ruled on only one side; the other side is blank.
- You get 10 lined and 10 squared. The lined ones are vertical, and I personally found that I didn't like being able to fit only a few words per line and would have liked horizontal ruling. This means I end up using the squared/quad cards a lot, and have hardly used the lined ones.
They are beautiful, and if they were cheaper and I could buy only squared ones, I would buy them again. But right now I wouldn't buy them again unless I find them dirt cheap somewhere.
