2008年に追加されたモレスキン・シティノートブックの香港バージョン。厚さ16mmとポケットノートブックより少し厚い。それとこのシリーズだけの仕様なのか、少しざらついた用紙になっている。早速パーソナルデータを書き込んでみたが、万年筆だとインクが少し滲む。（ペンとインクにも因るので必ずしも滲むとは言えないが。）コンテンツは公式Webページに詳しいので詳細は書かないが、あくまでも地図＋手帳であって、ガイドブックではない。公共交通機関等の連絡先や単位の換算表はついているが、それ以外の情報は掲載されていない。ゾーンマップは九龍地区と香港島の北側（ヴィクトリアハーバーに面したエリア）とアバディーンが掲載されており普通の旅行者ならこれで充分だが、新界や離島へ出かけていく香港フリークには物足りないだろう。マカオや深センも当然載っていない。公園、駅、学校、病院などの公共施設に限って掲載されており、かの有名なペニンシュラホテルですら載っていない。小さな通りまで名称が記載されており、通り名の索引(英文に漢字併記)もついているので、もし迷っても自分の居場所が探し出せる。使いこなすためには事前の予習は必須であるが、ガイドブックの不要なページまで持って行くことを思えば、軽量、コンパクトで非常に有用である。

The notebook I received from Amazon was a version with 2006 maps. The subway map was outdated. I spent most of my time in New Territories but the close-up maps are only of a small section of the Hong Kong Island and Kowloon sides of Victoria Harbour. So unless you're staying in that small area, you might be better off just getting a plain pocket Moleskine. However, I liked the customizable tabs and tracing paper sheets.

I am normally a fan of Moleskine products so I bought this before I went to Hong Kong for the year. The MTR map was out of date to start even though it was supposed be a 2010 book. The street maps were ok I think. I had expected space for journaling but instead got a sort of address book with tabs where you could just briefly enter in the locations of restaurants you had eaten at etc which was a bit useless. I didn't use it once. I just threw it out when I got home. I don't recommend it.

I have several of thesse City Notebooks by Moleskine and I've never been disappointed. They're incredibly useful and compact, great to help you explore a new city.
