Lovely high quality book, a must for enthusiasts

This book is gorgeous. It is high quality, with beautiful artwork, design and stories. Too bad it was printed before the Clubman was available, but it gives you a glimpse into the design process and prototype sketches of a car that did not yet exist, and now does.
It covers history of MINI as well as history of Design in the MINI era, with cultural references as well as detailed mechanical and design analyses of the various MINI models over the years.
MINI should give two copies to every owner: one for themselves and one to give away!

Decent promotional piece from Mini / BMW

I guess I should have done a little more research on this book. I did not realize it was published primarily for Mini dealerships by BMW. The book itself is eye-catching and bold in it's design with die-cut pages. The content leans towards an elaborate advertising campaign. There is a lot of unique photography and artistic flourishes, fashion spreads, brief/selective history of the car, and some insight into the re-design of the modern Mini Cooper. It's a very light, fluffy promotional piece that covers a lot of ground without going into much depth. I'm not disappointed, just surprised by it.

This book is a must for any Mini owner. I first saw it in England and couldn't wait to get a copy from Amazon. Great reference of the history of this grand little car.
