主に物質科学的視点より広い範囲の話題が
その分野の著名な先生方によりレビューおよび議論されている．
無論執筆者の意見のウェイトが大きく，引用文献が少なめな嫌いがあるが，
全体的にバランスのとれている教科書だとおもう．
修士のうちに一読しておくと後の研究に非常に役に立つと思う．
