Bought the manual hoping for wiring diagrams and other model specific info. I think the target market for the manual is in europe. Has lots of info for pre-obd 2, though there are lots of errors in the diagrams-- in one diagram they show the 4 cylinder motor while labelling it a a 6 cylinder schematic, then mislabel a relay as the 3rd ignition coil because, duh, the 4 cyl diagram only has 2. No info for OBD II cars. The glossary for the wiring diagrams is incomplete and the diagrams are hard to interpret. They probably forgot to photocopy the glossary from whatever wiring diagram they plagiarized.
There is lots of generic info for the 4 cylinder motor (not available in the US), clutch and manual transmission (not available in
US), and fuel injection systems prior to 1996. There is some info on the M104 engines of the w124 and w210.
Again there is NO useful info regarding the automatic transmissions, V6 or V8 or 4matic, or north american OBD II cars 1996 on, and little helpful info for the 6 cylinder.
The troubleshooting section has little model specific info-- it looks like it was adapted from an older car.
