About the Author
Joyce and Terry Losonsky are a husband and wife team from Columbia, Maryland, who became enthused about McDonald's toys along with their four children soon after the toys began to appear. In 1990 they produced the very first collector's guide to Happy Mealsr collectibles and have built a reputation for accuracy and completeness in this field ever since.

Another Great Reference

McDonald's Happy Meal Toys from the Eighties is a great book for any McDonald's or Fast Food Toy collector. This book goes beyond just the toys and includes McDonaldland Fun Times, Plates and Generics. Helpful things in this book include Updated Prices, More Listings and More Pictures. Great book for your reference, helps greatly to identify pieces in your collection, and is a must for the McDonald's Collector!

I've had a great time looking through this book, it's a lot of fun seeing all those different toys, I just find that either it needs more backstories for the different promotions or it should include pictures of all items mentioned, now it's stuck somewhere in the middle. Also the lay-outs and basically the overall graphic design feels uninspired. I do plan however to purchase Happy Meal Toys from the nineties. The book by the same authors featuring Happy Meal toys from the fifties, sixties and seventies has way more backstory, and I like it better because of that.
