I really love using this book. It's full of great recipes and most are easy enough to make. I find Marie Claire cookbooks have more 'modern' recipes in them and they can often be creative. If you have a little bit of extra time, this is fun to go through and there are plenty of new dishes to try and recreate.
I really love the Warm Leek Salad, Ocean Trout In Tomato And Orange Marinade (delicious) and the Chocolate Marquise (devine). I have tried a few more than these, but these are the ones I keep going back to. As Michelle writes in the introduction, it's a "thick and hearty book with lots of yummy ideas" that they hope to inspire us with. I've definately become more creative now and this is some of the reason. I go back to this book often and highly recommend it.
