4.0 out of 5 stars 異世界童話調の本格ＳＦヒューマンドラマ, 2009/10/4
上巻以上に高いクオリティが
作者がいかに本作に力を入れたか、
ノッて描けているかが伝わってきます。
画面も物語も奔放な拡がりを持っており
テーマはシンプルだけれど真摯で深みがあり
そのメッセージも受け取りやすい。

第12話「扉を開く左の手」〜第13話「マリィのオルゴール」辺りの
連続してたたみかけられる見開きが神がかり的な気合いの入りようで圧巻。

終わり方については、手放しで賛同はしかねるのですが
その気合いの入った画面構成だけで充分に価値ある一冊となっています。

四コマで知っている人にはだいぶ毛色が違うと感じるかもしれませんが、絵や構成の緻密さはやはりこの作者ならではです。カラクリの女神が見守るおだやかな世界でおこる、少年と少女の恋の行方は・・という筋です。が、ただ設定の上にストーリーがあるというのではなく、世界の秘密と二人の恋は、それはもう密接に絡み合っているのです。しかも読んでいる間はその仕掛けを感づかせることはなく、読み終えたのちに再読したときの悲しさはこたえられません。作画にも見所が多く、上下巻でぎっしりの密度です。

どうしようもない映画『アイアムレジェンド』
その脚本のいい加減さ　それが見えた。

上巻での話はカイとピピを中心にして進みますけど、非常に流れがゆっくりでした。
下巻では展開が速く、テーマは『ブレードランナー』に移ります。
そこの流れは良かったんですけど、そこでのカイの選択（作者の意図）にがっくし…
『アイアムレジェンド』にも通じるガックリさを味わうことになった。
はっきり言って甘いオチといわれても仕方ないし、テーマをぶち壊してしまってる。

現実世界には逃げ込む場所なんてないのに…
「ライチ光クラブ」みたいに脚本は他人に任せるほうがいい漫画を書く人だなと思った
絵はまあまあ良いです。高評価の人が多くて意外
