ドラッカー自身による「マネジメント」初版どころか他の彼の著作もほとんど読んでないところ、いきなりこの改訂版の原著「マネジメント」を手にしました。経営の父と呼ばれるだけあり、あまたいるコンサルタント・学者の諸説の源流を読み取ることができるばかりでなく、ドラッカー名言をその肉声で聞いているようで大きな感銘を受けました。私の場合いくつかのキーワードでマーキングしたのですが、殆ど全ページに書き込む有様です。英語の難易度は恐れるにたらず、しばらくは翻訳も出ないでしょうし、この分量ににして、増してやこの内容の凝縮度にして、この値段なら間違いなくお値打ちでしょう。友人にの進めており彼らも買い始めています。名著。

更に各章が４〜６つの内容に分かれており、どこから読んでも勉強になる。更には各章の終わりには要約がついている。
よって、先に要約を読んでから各コンテンツを読むと効率的である。
英語の学習教材としてもよいし、マネジメントを学ぶ初心者から熟練者まで楽しむことができる。
とても1973年初版の本とは思えない。
