このアルバムは、最新でありながら懐かしい。それが新しい。

意図的に歌謡曲風に仕上げていると思われる「夢の中で逢いましょう」を始めとして
なんとなく全体的に懐かしいニオイがする仕上がりになっています。

そういう意味では最初はちょっと古臭いようにも思えて、微妙かな？
と思ってしまいましたが、何度も聴いているうちにしっくり来はじめて。

気がついたらグルグル何周も聴き続けていました。

今回の作品は、まるっと一枚の作品として聴くことを考えて創っているそうです。
確かに、詰め込み感も多少あった前作「ACTION」に比べると
一周聞くのがすごくスムーズになっているようにも感じます。

古くて新しいという流れで統一された、「アルバム」である意味を感じさせる作品です。

２１年目にして新境地を開き続けるB'zには脱帽ですな。

話題性たっぷりの‘イチブトゼンブ’ ‘DIVE’ ‘MY LONELY TOWN’に映画「TAJOMARU」の主題歌‘PRAY’を含む全13曲＋summer sonic 09でのライブ映像他を収録したDVD付き。とても楽しげなレコーディング風景やPVの撮影風景なども入っていて、時間にしてなんと67分。余裕がないと見れませんよこれは。

1曲目？のイントロからの‘DIVE’の繋がり方がかっこいい！‘DIVE’は絶対2曲目だろうと予想していました。

シングル曲意外でなら‘だれにも言えねぇ’が私は特に好きですね。

‘MAGIC’を含め全体的に懐かしい感じに仕上がっているんじゃないでしょうか。最近のB'zはダメだ、という昔のファンにもこのアルバムでもう一度帰ってきて頂きたい。

松本さんが『会心の出来』だと言っていた通りじゃないカナ。この後、ヘビーローテで聴きそうデス。

前作『ACTION』が17曲収録だったこともあり、曲数が少ないかなぁと購入する前に思いました。すでにリリースされている『イチブトゼンブ/DIVE』『MY LONELY TOWN』が良い仕上がりだったのでいっぱい曲を聴きたいと思ったのもあるのですが。
アルバム全体の感想としてB'zらしさに新しいサウンドを取り入れた作品に仕上がっています。一曲一曲が大変聴きやすくあっという間に聴き終わりました。
長く活動し、多くの曲を作ってきたので今回も賛否両論あるとおもいます。しかしB'zが自信を持って作り私達に届けている作品ですから今のB'zの最高傑作じゃないでしょうか。
長文になりましたが、要するに買って後悔するようなことがないアルバムだと言うことです。
