I just traveled all over scotland, england, and wales. I had no plan and really no places to stay. I used this book the whole time and it was absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I have always been able to trust the lonely planet guide books.

It's really an excellent guide...with colour pictures and interesting tours. I will use it a lot in my next trip

This book is disappointing, given the print quality of Lonely Planets. It is not easy to navigate, with no index and just general contents pages. There is decent basic information, but just not easy to get to and around.
