iPodを車載して使うのにFMトランスミッターが一般的です。
各社からいろんな製品が出ていますが、充電機能のあるなしがまず大きなところ。
充電コードとFMトランスミッター別々に買うよりは安いし、スマート。
車の電源に連動してON/OFFするのは手間が省けて楽です。（再生一時状態になっています。）
周波数もすでに決められている製品が多い中、任意に設定できるのも混信避ける意味でもいいし、液晶表示で分かりやすい。
BMW1シリーズであえてAUX IN端子使わず使用していますがノイズなど不満は特にないです。
ソケット部分がもう少し小振りだといいですけど。
「Made for iPod」認定 、PC周辺機器でなじみのあるLogitecの製品であることも安心の一つです。
音質はFMトランスミッターなのでどんな製品でも上限があると思います。
良くも悪くもFMラジオのクリア受信程度ですが不満ないです。

Logitec 「Made for iPod」認定 車載用FMトランスミッター(ブラック) LAT-FMi02BK

音質は良く、ノイズも無く、安定した動作をする商品です。iPhoneにも対応していますが、接続時にメッセージが表示されます。「いいえ」を選択すると正常に動作しますが、画面には周波数は表示されません。
気をつけることは、コネクターの厚みがあるので、使用している保護ケースによっては、しっかりと接続できないことがあります。
また、シガーソケットのサイズにより、しっかり固定できないことがあります。特に接続部分のばねがやわらかいせいもあります。
この価格にしては、良い商品です。

つい先日までMONSTERのFMトランスミッターを使用していましたが、iPod nano 4th に買い替えて繋いでみたところ、充電ができないため、致し方なく、このLAT-FMi02BK を購入。MONSTERに比べ、デザインはかなりやぼったいですが、音質のよさにびっくり。ノイズが少なく、高域がクリアで、とてもクリーンな再現力。もちろん車種によりFMアンテナの位置は異なるので、ケースバイケースにはなるでしょうが、少なくとも一般的なロッドアンテナであれば、まず満足できる音質となると思います。この価格でこの音質、コストパフォーマンスはなかなかグッド。デザインがよくない分、★ひとつマイナスですが、カラバリもあり、iPod nano 4thユーザにはオススメではないでしょうか。
