His collaboration and legendary performance with the ultimate rock 'n' roll musician Leon Russell is captured 'Live on stage' on May 4, 1988 at the Main St. Caf in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. Over the course of more than 20 years, Edgar Winter has recorded more than 20 albums, guested on other stars' hit recordings, and has most recently branched out into the film industry. He re-recorded his ever-popular song "Free Ride" for the film
Air America and had his rock 'n' roll classic "Frankenstein" featured in the Paramount release
Wayne's World 2. Frankenstein had previously reached number 1 in the U.S. in May of 1973. Later that year, "Free Ride," from the same album, reached number 14.
