Morrie from Dead End has done it again. Revitalizing a stagnant genre of alternative rock music and infusing it with new strands of metallic, melancholia, jazz, and progressive alternative music that might be ways for the new wave for prog alt rockers to go. Since virtually starting the Visual Kei movement with bands like D'erlanger and X following suit, Morrie Dead End and now his new musical venture Creature Creature with Hajime Okano producing, recapture the delirious and delightful sounds that emulated before the big alt boom of the 90's around 1987 with their Shambara album. Infused with dance grooves and metallic madness this band was a bit ahead of their time and Dead End and members from Mad Capsule Markets, L'arc en ciel do the legend Morrie proud again with this release. Take a listen to Paradise and you hear the heavenly angel like choruses and listen to Red with it's rip shred rock riffs and it's lunatic melancholia type acoustics and you'll be hooked. Intended to be listened to over and over, you pick up fantastic elements from all of these well rounded musicians....
