Like other of Pastor Ralph Wilson's Discipleship Lessons, Letter of James is a verse-by-verse lesson on the book of James. He begins by discussing the authorship and date of the epistle, as well as various reactions to it through Church history. After that, he gets into the text. He encourages readers to read the Scriptures before beginning the study, and he quotes passages of Scripture and expounds on it. James is one of my favorite books of the Bible, and I found Pastor Wilson's writing and explanations very helpful in understanding the epistle. I recommend this study to Christians who want to learn more about demonstrating their faith through their works.
