Jay Leno is the host of the Emmy Award-winning and number-one-rated The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, celebrating its twelfth anniversary in May 2004. Leno is the author of Leading with My Chin (HarperCollins), his autobiography. This is his first book for children. Jay was born in New Rochelle, New York, and was raised in Andover, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Mavis, live in Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his collection of classic cars and motorcycles.

Best in my collection of joke books for kids

I teach elementary school and collect books of clean jokes for kids. You had to guess Leno's book would be funny, but the way he talks to kids in the intro is perfect: not talking down to them but right at them, and you are getting the best joke-telling advice in the world. (I would actually read a whole book on his life based on the readability of his intro. Is an autobiography available?) And the jokes are hilarious! Something for everyone in here. These are kid jokes that actually make adults laugh.
