見た感じ何の工夫もない、ただの棒なので「こんなもんで何が出来る？」と思うのですが、
床の上で背中に当てて寝転がるだけで「チョー気持ちいい」んです。
その姿勢でさらに体を左右に少し転がすと背中の筋肉がマッサージされて、
これまた気持ちいいです。へたなマッサージ機より気持ちいいです。
こうすることで背骨のゆがみが矯正されるらしいです。(コアリセット）
よくジムの片隅に誰にも使われずに置いてあるので試しに、２〜３分、
背中コロコロしたあと床に寝そべってみて下さい。
背骨の接地感がすごくよくなっているのが体感出来ると思います。

もっぱらリラクゼーション目的で使ってます。
職場にも何本か転がってるアイテムです。
職場は病院のリハビリテーション部です。
基本的な使い方としてはポールの上に寝て使います。背骨を意識してねっころがります。
使ってみるとわかるんですが、５分ぐらいでもした後、背筋が伸びた感じがあります。
使い方のDVDのついたものもありますので見ながらやるといいかも。
（僕は職場の後輩から勧められてやってみましたけど＾＾）
インターネット上にも使い方をレクチャーしてあるページがいくつかありますね。

腰〜肩のストレッチのために

毎日欠かせない道具になっています。

特に肩甲骨の辺りは自分で触れないので

そこが凝りやすい自分にはちょうどよいものでした。
