「LAPLINK 12」は、インターネット上のインターコム インターネット サーバーを利用して、インターネット経由でパソコン同士を接続します。IPアドレスの入力が不要なため、手間が掛かりません。また、接続を受ける側のパソコンが、ファイアウォール環境やルーターを利用した環境、プライベートIPアドレス環境でも、簡単に接続できます。また、LAN/WAN・モデム/TA・ダイヤルアップ ネットワークなどあらゆる接続形態にも対応しています。より手軽に、簡単に、快適に、リモートコントロールによる問題解決を実現します。

遠隔操作が可能な高機能リモートコントロールソフト。インターネット、LAN/WAN、モデム/TA、ダイヤルアップなどあらゆる接続形態に対応。高度なセキュリティによるユーザーサポートやヘルプデスク業務や、簡単高速データ転送によるリモート操作、高速リモートコントロールによるリモート保守、一歩進んだPCコミュニケーションなどに利用できる。本製品では、操作スピードとセキュリティが大幅強化。従来比30%(LAPLINK GOLD 11との比較。ゲストカラー「256色」での計測)の高速化で快適にリモート操作が可能となり、相手のパソコン画面を手元のパソコン画面に表示して手元のマウスとキーボードで快適に操作できるようになった。手元のパソコンのデータを相手側のプリンタで、相手のパソコンのデータを手元側のパソコンで印刷することも可能。また、さらに強化されたセキュリティにより、不正なプログラム起動、フォルダへのアクセス制限が可能となり、相手に操作されたくないプログラムの起動制限や特定のフォルダのアクセスを禁止する設定によって、不正な操作を防ぎ、リモート操作を受ける側も安心してアクセスを許可できるようになった。そのほか、通信、操作ログ記録が向上し、相手からの接続を記録した通信ログに加えて、リモートコントロール操作の履歴もログファイルに記録することができるようになったほか、256bit暗号化対応により、通信データの機密性を飛躍的に高めることが可能に。また、Windowsターミナルサービスとの共存にも対応。「インターネット接続ガイド」を付属。2ライセンス付属。
