Grab a mug of hot cocoa and settle into your favorite cozy chair

As the season is now transitioning into Spring and the weather is becoming less cozy and cloudy and more airy and sunny, this Kinfolk is starting to hibernate into my bookshelf until next Fall/Winter. This magazine is filled with little essays and photos to supplement those essays about people's love of food and sharing that love with others. Each essay is carefully crafted using descriptions to submerge you into the moment that the author was in. You will read everything from one woman's love of bee keeping to how one chef's daily dinners with her family growing up transitioned into her grown up life of having dinner every night with her husband. There is also a photo diary of one group's trip to a cabin. I suggest visiting the mag's website to get a sneak peek at some of the photographs from their issues. This is one of those magazines that you do not throw out once the season is over. You simply place it on a shelf to let it age and come back to it once the season calls for it. It is truly a treasure full of beautiful pictures, enchanting words, and even some artwork from my favorite blogger Katie Stratton (of katiespencilbox). I suggest purchasing this copy and all future ones to come, sitting down with a loved one and taking turns reading it together over a cup of something that warms your soul.
