アコースティック楽器を使っている人は必須です。
チューニングが正確に早く出来ます。
なんと言ってもチューニングマシーンのマイクに楽器を近づけなくても良いのが便利です。
楽器を弾く前は必ず正確なチューニングを(^^/

4.0 out of 5 stars クリップ式でないチューナーをお持ちの方へ。, 2009/8/15
KORG Chromatic tuner CA-30 につないで使っています。

単体での使用とは異なり、環境音の影響をほとんどうけなくなります。
ぶっちゃけ、テレビつけっぱなしでも問題なし。
チューナーの針安定度がだいぶ向上し、チューニングの時間も短縮できますね。

ただ、チューナーをお持ちでない方は、
クリップ式 (AW-2G など) もお勧めかもしれません。
(星ひとつの原点理由です)

クリップ式と比較した場合のCA-30+CM100L 側の利点は、以下のものです。
1) ボタン電池使用のチューナーより、電池のもちがよい (最終的なランニングコストは上)
2) チューナーの位置が自由になるので、個人的には譜面台におけて楽 (慣れの範疇ですが)
3) クリップ式より、クリップ分かさばらない (でも、あまりかわらない)

ギターの調弦は、普段は音叉を使っていましたが、メトロノームが必要になり、KORGのTM-40を買いました。これにはチューナーもついていて便利ですが、近くに楽器を弾いている人がいるような環境では、その音を拾ってしまって、全く使えません。このコンタクトマイクを使うと自分のギターの音だけを調弦できるので、とても便利になりました。初めから、ギターに直接取り付けるタイプのチューナーを持っている人には必要ないものでしょうが。
