minkのこの最新作は映画「青き狼　地果て海尽きるまで」の主題歌となっていて、カップリングの「blessing of love」（「愛の祝福」）は「Innocent Blue〜地果て海尽きるまで〜」の別バージョン（多分英語版）で、海外での上映された際の主題歌、そして「青き狼」は同映画の挿入歌で、インストを加えて全6曲収録されます。そのminkの色んな面を楽しませるようなボリュームにはまず賛成します。
「Innocent Blue〜地果て海尽きるまで〜」は壮大なバラード曲で、minkの羽ばたいているようなボーカルはその壮大さをより引き出して、初めて聞いた時は鳥肌でした。
但し、「Hold on to a dream」での問題は再び今作に現れました。それは昔の曲のアコースティックさと暖かさがかけているという問題です。こんなにグランドな曲にはもっと相応しいアレンジがほしいのです。例えば、ストリングスやハープなどを入れるとか。なので1点マイナス、4点をつけます。でも他の2曲はどうなっているか期待しています。

エイベックスはminkのような才能を持っている歌手にもっと金や時間を他のアーティストから廻して欲しいものですね。

アダルトでそれでいて深みのある歌声を持つminkが歌う、
モンゴルの英雄チンギスハンを描いた映画の主題歌です。
そのテーマゆえ、スケールの壮大さを素直に感じ取れる曲構成になっています。
そこで、ふと、Instrumentalのみを聴いてみたのですが、
これがまた、まさしくちょっとした映画やドラマのBGMみたいで、すっごくかっこいい。
アレンジャーさんは、池田綾子や小柳ゆきなどの作品でおなじみのTATOOさん。
大胆かつ繊細なInstrumentalに合わさった深みのある歌声をぜひ堪能してみてください。

魅力が、、、何かをあまりかんじられない。
歌はうまい。
だけど、聴いてても止めたくなるのは、
かすれ具合なのかな？？
ライブも好きなんだけど。。。
