Beautifully illustrated! Magical for children and adults alike!

I have been in love with anything Fae since I was a little, little girl, and am especially in love with anything Tinker Bell. I am 20 years old, and I must say, I enjoyed this book immensely. The illustrations were colorful, vivid, detailed and beautiful, and the way the book moves you from place to place in the world of Pixie Hollow will make you smile and wish you could go there.
I highly recommend this book for children and adults alike. I think I'll be purchasing another copy for my five-year-old niece this Christmas.
Parents, do your children a favor and keep magic and wonder in their lives by giving them this book...and remember to clap if you believe in fairies!

Simply Beautiful

I saw this book today at Toys 'R Us, and stood spellbound for at least 5 min amidst hurried holiday shoppers. Believe me, 5 min in Toys 'R Us during this time of year means this book is something special.
The book was $18.99, and I put it down with regret. But it was so pretty, and interesting, that I went back to it before I left. I found the book simply remarkable. But still, the price got me. I'm 26 and couldn't imagine buying it for myself, and I have a little boy at home, so I put it back again. But for the price listed on Amazon, its a great deal!
The coolest thing, beside the beautiful artwork, is the explainations for the everyday life of the fairy. I remember reading about the Fairy Queen, and the homes of the fairy's, and the day-to-day chores they do. It was really interesting! So if you're buying for a little girl, between the ages of 3-14, I recommend getting this. I would love it if someone got it for me, even now!

A gorgeous book to look at

This was a Christmas gift to a 6 year old, but I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it myself. The illustrations are very pretty and I would say each of the 140 pages in it has at least one picture on it. You can flip to any page and read a short story or history to a child and they can enjoy the photos. Right now my daughter is flipping through the pages, telling me what different things she learned about faeries on each page. And the price with Amazon is the best, I have yet to find it cheaper, this is worth the money they are asking for such a nice, large hardback book.
