このベストアルバム2は、谷村有美が絶頂期に達する寸前の時期に出た、まさにナンバーワンベストアルバムです。
5枚目「愛は元気です」から8枚目「愛する人へ」までのピカイチと思った曲が殆どピックアップされていました。まさに谷村アルバムの
ドリームチームです。唯一他に入れてほしかった曲は、~愛は元気です~から
「生まれ変わる気持ち」。と~愛する人へ~から「NOT FOR SALE」の2曲。
でも隠れた名曲として、ベストに入らないのも一興ですかね。
※谷村有美を初めて聴く人におすすめのアルバムです。

ベストアルバムというと、売れた曲・有名な曲を並べると思われがちですが、このアルバムは、そういう訳ではありません。
もちろん、シングル曲も収められていますが、様々な表情の谷村有美を楽しむことができるのではないでしょうか？
完成された音楽~円熟期へと向かう過程を、ぜひ楽しんでください。

このＣＤを買ったのが「元気出してよ」が主題歌のアニメ「三丁目のタマ」にハマったことです。

リリースが１２年前の作品ですが、「しあわせの涙」「今夜あなたにフラレたい」といったタイアップ曲が入っている中で一番のお気に入りは「最後のキス」です。失恋ソングとは思わないくらい明るいところが垢抜けます。

１２年たった今聴いても好きです。
