高校生のとき、スウェディッシュポップ？の流行に乗って
購入。音は、そういう系統です。

あれから10年経っても、まったく新鮮さが失われません。

それどころか、大人になった今のほうが共感できる部分、
歌詞に新しい発見があります。

特に、I　could be freeが好きです。

他の原田さんのアルバムも欲しいと思いました。

全編にやさしい風が通り過ぎるような爽快感が伴う。トーレ・ヨハンセンプロデュースの名に恥じない秀逸なアルバム。ただ、プロデューサーのお蔭、という作品ではない。このアルバムがこの完成度に到達しえたのは、間違いなく彼女の歌声が故であろう。角川三姉妹の原田知世、元アイドルのお遊びアルバムと思ってはいけない。そこには一人のシンガーとしての原田知世がいる。だまされたと思って買って損のないアルバムの一つ。

　トーレ・ヨハンソンをプロデューサーに迎えた９７年の作品。ホーンやストリングスを配した華やか且つ力強いバンド・サウンドと耳当たりのよいナチュラルな歌声との相性が抜群で、思わず身を委ねて聴きたくなるような最高の心地良さを感じさせてくれます。秀逸な楽曲が並ぶ見事なプロデュースがされた優れたポップ作品に仕上がっています。あと個人的には、同じくトーレ・ヨハンソンがプロデュースしたボニー・ピンクの９８年の「 evil and flowers 」と対をなす作品であるように感じました。両方の作品を聴き比べてみるのも面白いです。
