   6作目を迎えてますます好調なステファン・ポンポニャックの「Hotel Costes」シリーズ。今回はいつもの上品な雰囲気と柔らかなビートにほんの少しばかりの泥臭さが加わっている。いや、「泥臭さ」と言っては語弊がありそうだ。ポンポニャックの選曲は、あくまでもジャン・ルイ・コストが経営するパリの有名ホテル兼クラブの、クールでお洒落なラウンジを念頭に置いたものだ。

   とはいえ、都会的なグルーヴやおとなしめのジャングル・ビートも顔をのぞかせる。トスカによるドラッギーな「Rolf Royce」（アルバム『Dehli9』より）はシンプルで鋭いベース・ラインが特徴で、まるでハッピー・マンデーズのアウトテイクのよう。一方、マイナス8の「Snowblind」はジャジーで美しい混乱状態を繰り広げる。

   5作目までとは異なり、『Hotel Costes 6』は後のトラックほど質が上がっていく。締めくくりはダブとフランス語の女性ヴォーカルをかけ合わせた「Un Monde Sans Frime」。今度のホテルの宿泊者たちは、無骨だが気のいい招待客よろしく、ファッショナブルとは言えないかもしれないが、社交場の花であることに変わりはないのだ。（Matthew Cooke, Amazon.com）

友達と電話をかけながら流しても苦にならない一品。
コレを聞いて毎日メイクをしてます。うまくいえませんが気分がノッていくのでお出かけの前にオススメ。
２を車で聞くことが多いのでこちらはもっぱら自分の部屋で流してます。
おしゃれなカフェの気分なので友達や彼氏をお家に呼んでパーティーやお食事会の時に流してみてもいいですね＊

いかにもなムード重視（ジャケ、付属のポスター等相当凝ってて豪華）とか言われそうだけども中身はシンプルに良かったです。

アメリカものとは明らかに違うどこか曇りのあるヨーロッパ系。時折聞こえるフレンチボーカルもおしゃれー。どうかすると数ある中の流行おしゃれ系ハウス/ラウンジコンピで終わりそうなのだがコンセプトがしっかりしてるのか意外に(失礼！）飽きません。
いいじゃん、渋いじゃん。。な内容。

hotel costes シリーズやっぱ好きかも・・

Hotel Costesの中でもこのVol.6は癖の無い曲が多いので
ずっと流しておいても耳障りになりません。
レストランや喫茶店に似合う様な、おしゃれな曲ばかりです。
