Another postcard book published by Chronicle Books! So you know it'll be of good quality, with thick, sturdy cards that can survive any harsh weather/handling in the delivery process, and are able to be detached from the spine and NOT with that evil tear-along-the-dotted-line drivel.
This is definitely a book of cards suitable for both children and adults, featuring colorful cards with cute animals on them, many of them being anthropomorphic. It's a lovely, simple set.

Adorable, somewhat winter themed?

I got these postcards for using with Postcrossing, and they are adorable and just what I was looking for! The cards are nice and big, sturdy, and have a good surface for writing on. I don't know if this was just my book, but I found the cards to be very easy to remove from the binding, unlike two other postcard books that I bought at the same time from the same publisher. When I was flipping through the cards today, I did notice that there is kind of a winter/Christmas theme going on; lots of bears in footie pajamas with holly, dogs with Santa hats, and animals in thick coats and green intarsia sweaters. I don't know if it's intentional, and I don't think it's a bad thing. They'd make super cute greetings for the coming holidays!

Sturdy, sweet postcards

These postcards are oversized and exceptionally sturdy, and they detach easily from the glued spine of the holder.
The animal scenes featured on each postcard are very sweet and playful. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a winter theme throughout. Highly recommended!
