This book seems to be aimed at beginners who need to practice picking tunes in the Gypsy jazz repertoire but it's not for someone who wants to learn licks or arpeggio runs or all the other things usually associated with Gypsy Jazz. The rhythm tracks could be used for practicing, but those you can get online from Gonzalo Bergera. Stephane Wrembel's book is more comprehensive. So overall it's a good way to to get an introduction to gypsy jazz playing but you'll need something more to get you to your first jam session.
