An incredibly beautiful, witty, imaginative, whimsical, clever, and original photo book! A great addition to any collection and can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages especially since the book is also a game of "Guess Who" since the names are scrambled. All your favorite personalities like you have never seen them. It is printed on gorgeous paper and bound classically. Also, what a great gesture by Sirota to give her proceeds to AIDS Project Los Angeles. Everyone should own one just for that. Makes a great Christmas gift for that special person you never know what to buy them! Go out and get two, one for you and one for that special person. I nominate it "Photo Book of the New Millenium". Hooray for creativity and sensitivity all wrapped up in one. Bravo Sirota!
Loved the Peggy Sirota book!2010/2/1

My boyfriend is a photographer and had been wanting this book for quite awhile. Was glad to be able to get it for him at such a reasonable price. Thanks!
I dig the charity, but no...2008/2/8
I happened to skim this book at my local bookstore, and I have to say I am unimpressed. The whole "guess who" thing is cliché, and the photographic talent (either technical or conceptual) for an art book just does not seem to be there. I know that the Sirota "slice-of-life" ads in the 80's were all the rage, but in a coffee table book like this, the work just falls flat. Perhaps Ms. Sirota is a bit long in the tooth for this kind of work, and should stick to ads for mayonnaise, soap, or whatever. I did like the creamy paper, but I have to wonder how much money that paper and binding choice took away from the AIDS project... Does Ms. Sirota have a brother or something? The previous review seems to be written by a professional cheerleader, and can't be for real.
