多分日本でこのライブを観る事は出来ないはず。何故なら、あの「ボズ・スキャッグス」の最高のライブアルバムを作るために最高のアーティストが集まっているから。ギターのドゥルー・ズィグはスティーリー・ダンのファンなら知らない人はいないはずだし、ベースのマット・ビソネットはあのジョー・サトリアーニが最も信頼するミュージシャン。アルバム全体に流れる「今夜はボズに楽しく唄わしててあげよ~」という、あたたかさ，それを裏付ける確かなテクニックとレベルの高さに、改めて音楽の素晴らしさを感じさせてもらいました。ラストの「ウィー・アー・オール・アローン」を聞き終われば、心地よい余韻が残ること間違いなし！絶対おすすめ！

Boz Scaggsのオール･タイム･ベストとでも言うべき選曲の2枚組ライブ盤である。プロデュースには長年の盟友、David Paichがあたっている。アレンジはほぼオリジナル･バージョンに近いかたちで行われており、長年のファンも大いに楽しめる。ジャズ･ボーカル･スタイルのBoz Scaggsも悪くはなかったが、Boz Scaggsかくあるべしというべき選曲、演唱と言うべきである。バック･バンドのメンバーには有名どころはいないが、手堅い演奏を展開している。名盤"Silk Degrees"からのセレクションが多いのは当然であるが、中でも名曲"Harbor Lights"の収録は嬉しいところ。原曲ではフリューゲル･ホーンのソロが渋かったが、ここでのソプラノ・サックスも味わい深い。

90年代初めやこの間のブルー・ノートにおけるコンサートを見て「ああ、もうこの人も駄目だ」
と見限っていたのだが、このCDではなかなか聴かせるコンサートをやっている。
自分の曲の中でうける曲はどれかというのもわかっており、バラード系の充実ぶりもよい。
ただ、Disc-2の7の収録はうれしいのだが、いかんせん「Lyla」と同じく
例のギターが入っていないとなんとも物足りなく感じるのはあまりに酷か？
もともと曲は極上のものを持っており、それを今回もう一度素材のよさを
一番わかっているDavid Paichに再処理させているのだから結果がよくなる
のは当たり前なのだが、いつものコンサートもちゃんと聴けるようなものをやってください。
