ABBAはスウェーデンが誇る男女４人のポップグループです。彼らの曲は、元気でノリの良いものもあれば、しっとり落ち着いたもの、幻想的なもの、壮大かつ感動的のものなど、どんな気分の時に聴いても聴く者の心を満たしてくれます。このＣＤは彼らの多くの名曲の中から、最もスタンダードで美しいメロディーのものを選抜しており、どれを聴いても耳に馴染みやすく、かつ新鮮で楽しめること間違いなしです。あの有名な「ダンシングクイーン」を始め、世代を超えて受け継がれるアバの名曲の数々を聴きながら、早朝の道を散歩してみてはいかがでしょうか。気分爽快、悩みや憂鬱な気分もヒトっ飛びです！！！

アバはどちらかというと「昔のディスコソング」というイメージで私の中ではかなりチープな存在でした。一番有名な「ダンシングクィーン」をなんだか聞きたくなってそのために購入したこの１枚。でも期待していなかったその他の曲・・・そしてアバも・・・全部を愛してしまいました。私もこの時代に生きてアバと一緒に踊りたかったよ!!すっかり耳なじみになった曲も多数収録されていてお得感もあります。全体的にノリのいい曲と、しっとり聞かせる癒しなバラードが絶妙なバランスで収録されています。英語の歌詞もかなり英語の勉強になるので対訳と歌詞カードがついた日本盤も少し高いけどおすすめです。

これさえあればＡＢＢＡの世界に浸りたいときは十分です。いろいろな編集があっても、価格を考えても、これだけの曲がそろっていれば満足。ミュージカルの予習もこのラインナップさえあればＯＫです。個人的には、ＴＨＡＮＫ　ＹＯＵ　ＦＯＲ　ＴＨＥ　ＭＵＳＩＣが一番好きな歌のなのですが、この曲から最後のＷＡＴＥＲＬＯＯにかけて、やはりＡＢＢＡの魅力の広さを感じます。
