I have absolutely no use whatsoever for a map of Antarctica. But - as soon as I saw this listed, I knew I was going to order it. It is cool!
The front is a physical map of the continent, and the back is the political map. There are several boxes of info about Antarctica on front and back.
The scale is 1:9,500,000.
General comments about the Globetrotter Travel Maps:
These Globetrotter maps measure 28" x 39". The fronts are really 28" x 34" because the left 5" is the unfolded heavy cover. They are printed on heavy paper that should hold up well under normal use.
I have bought a dozen of these (and there are a few more I want). Their being available under Amazon's 4 for 3 deal is a bonus.

You're not going to be asked by the captain to help plot the voyage, but you can easily follow along here to find the most-visited landing sites for the 300 or so tourist ship departures from Ushuaia to Antarctica. Worth the price, to let you grasp enough details of your trip.
