Useful but very specific

This Paizo Gamemastery Flip-Mat is great for any role playing game that takes place at sea. Both sides are great for encounters, and the flexibility of the blank side can help in setting up your own sea-based encounters. Be prepared, though - these mats do have a tendency to rise at the edges and seems, since they are fold-away type mats. I've found that setting a heavy book on the edges and middle - the kind of books you'll likely have on hand during a Pathfinder or other RPG game anyway - helps to flatten out the map by the time you're ready to run the encounter.
