事故らないように注意しながら一般道路でレースするゲームです。
また、同じコースでも分岐点が多いため、違った走りが楽しめます。
操作の感覚はゲームっぽいですが、Wiiハンドルの反応も良く、思ったとおりの走りがしやすいため、ストレスはあまり感じません。
始めは、初心者向けの単純なコース、チューンされていないスピードあまりでないクルマしか選択できないため、初心者の方でも気軽に楽しむ事ができます。
(単純なコースでも一般車に事故る可能性があるので、十分面白いです)

同じレーシングゲームに当てはまる「F1 2009」を購入しましたが非常に画面の動きが速くかつステアリングの反応も曖昧で楽しめなかったのに反してこの「GTI Club ワールドレース」は１回のゲーム時間も短くて超初心者コースでも充分楽しめます。ライバルに勝つたびにマイカーにスポイラーやホイール、カーボンボンネットが追加出来たり、新しい車を選べたり出来ます。しかも新しい車も追加出来るようにもなり楽しみ倍増です。ATでもマニュアルでも運転出来ますが特にマニュアルで運転すると特にアウトビアンキなんかはパワーが無くトルクバンドも狭いので、ギアチェンジのテクニックを駆使してライバルに勝つと「してやったり！」の気分です。こんな面白いゲームは初めてです。
