Perfect guide for a first timer to explore the best of Seattle! We took advantage of the CityPass as suggested and visited everything! We ate only at places recommended and loved them all!! Thank you, Frommers for another exemplary guidebook!

Not up to standard

We've had good success with other Frommer's guides, but this one totally failed to deliver a lot of information that travelers buy a guide for. For example, there was no warning about spotty ferry service to the San Juan Islands. We drove two hours only to find that the next ferry wasn't for six hours and there would be no return ferry after that. Also no warning that in late April most of the restaurants and shops on Bainbridge Island would be closed. The difficulties of driving to Mt. Rainier from Seattle were vastly understated as well. It basically ignored the needs of anyone not traveling in summertime. Overall, it seemed more like some puff piece the Chamber of Commerce would put out than a useful resource for a veteran traveler.
