幸運にもパーティに招待されたネッド君。
でも不運にもパーティは、何千マイルも遠いところ。

幸運にもお友達に飛行機を貸してもらったネッド君。
でも不運にもエンジンが爆発！

幸運にも（Fortunately）で始まる短い一文と
不運にも（Unfortunately）で始まるもう一つの短文で構成された絵本です。
ネッド君は、はたしてパーティにたどり着けるのか？

次々と幸運と不運がやってきます。

イラストも綺麗で楽しく、繰り返しのテンポの良い英文で小学生の高学年の子供達には、とても人気がありました。

fortunately のときは　親指を立ててYeah!　
unfortunately のときは　両手のひらを上に向けて　Oh-oh　とかOh,No　
といいながら読んで楽しんでます。
英語がわからなくても絵と絵のトーンからよくわかります。
こどもはおなかを抱えて笑って聞いてます。
