The revolutionary modifications to the regulations decided on by the Federation before the 2009 F1 World Championship, have had severe repercussions on the progress of the season. The teams that were undisputed protagonists the previous year - especially Ferrari and McLaren - had to face new forces on the track. First among the newcomers was Brawn, risen from the ashes of Honda and able to win both titles, the drivers' going to Britain's Jenson Button. Red Bull and Toro Rosso also did well. An anomalous championship, but no less intense even for that, is told by expert Giorgio Piola, who analyses the various phases of development carried out by the teams during the 2009 season. As usual, the text is completed by an ample section devoted to the protagonist cars of 2010.

Views and details of the Formula1 teams that you may see no where else. I'm a geek about the changes in F1 from year to year; even race to race. The illustrations are top-notch. Glad to find out about this book. Will 'subscribe' to it from now on. This is a must for a serious Formula 1 technical fan.

Beautifully drawn depictions of the cars and the the changes they undertake throughout the season. Thorough explanations are easy to understand. For anybody wondering why some cars work better than others.

My first look at one of these and visually it is terrific. This is for anyone looking for extraordinary technical details of the minute and fascinating developments across a season of F1 racing.
But the language is, at best, wooden, at worst confusing. It is in English from an Italian text. The editor should have assigned it to someone who knows how to write English. It reminds me of an owner's manual for a 1980s Japanese car. Could have been much better, but the illustrations are fantastic.
