キャラデザの石原恵さんを筆頭に色々な方がセイバーのイラストを描いています。(書き下ろしイラストに対して、大河とイリアがタイガー道場の掛け合いをしてるのが笑えます)
写真集と言っていますが、ページ後半はアニメのセイバーの軌跡を面白おかしく、またしみじみとプレイバックしています。
ただ、いかんせんページ数が少ないのが残念ですね。
どうせならアニメ版権イラストを全て載せてくれたらよかったのに…。
4月にBlu-rayが出るのでそれに合わせて出したのでしょう。
今後、凜や桜のも出すなら、もう少し修正して欲しいです。

ありそうでそんなになかった甲冑少女の先駆け的存在（と思っている）セイバーの写真集・・・というかイラスト集ですが掲載量としては十分だと思います。一枚一枚が大変魅力的かつ原作ではありえないシチュエーションのイラストがほとんどなので自称硬派なセイバーファン以外の方はそこそこ満足できる内容だと思われます。

後半はアニメ版Fateのセイバー設定資料集や食いしん坊ネタ、ストーリーをダイジェスト形式でセイバー目線で振り返るといったムック本的な内容。

このキャラを知らないけど前々から気になっているという方にも是非オススメです。

金額的には微妙に高く感じられるが、大判で綺麗に見られるのは嬉しい。
アニメキャラデザの石原さんは当然ながら、描き寄せている他作家さんのも総じて悪くなく、
「写真集」というコンセプトで様々な衣装のセイバーを見られるのは楽しい。
ifとしてセイバーに写真集の話が舞い込んで、みたいに設定作ってセイバーのコメント付けてみたり、
タイガー道場よろしく藤ねぇとイリヤが様々イラストに掛け合いツッコミ入れているのも
小技が効いてて悪くないと思う。

でも武内さんの絵が一つも無い。。。
まぁ有れば初めから紹介に入っていないはずも無いので分かっちゃいたものの、
１点ぐらいは入ってて欲しかったなーというのが心残り。

及び、藤ねぇとイリヤのコメントに付ける顔イラストも少しは表情替えようよ。
ボケやツッコミも同じおすまし顔でやられたら興醒めする。無い方が想像しやすい気がする。
あと、藤ねぇは「凛ちゃん」じゃなくて「遠坂さん」だから。

そんな重箱の隅つつく感じながら星的には3.5、どっちかなら４、という格付けですが、
総体的には好感触。アニメ版好きでアンソロジーに抵抗無い人には確実にお勧めできる。
この調子で他の人も出してほしいなー。買い揃えるぞ。
要望としてはキャス子の時には武梨さん必須で＜まずキャス子かよｗ
