This book is amusing if you're interested in fashion. Palmer captures moments during the shows and other times of designers, models, the media, etc in a very quirky illustrating style and witty captions. The one thing that detracts from this is that this book will probably be only of interest with those people who are in 'the know' (a very cliched way to put it but I can't think of anything else!) with fashion - that is those who are in the industry, as she doesn't do straight out celebrities (don't expect to find sketches of Nicole Kidman or Beyonce preening themselves in the front row) but more the 'celebrities' of fashion like Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Polly Mellen, Anna Piaggi, etc.
This book would probably outrightly bore those who are interested in the shopping-fashion-celebrities sort of arena - instead it is more suited for those who are interested in an industry viewpoint of fashion. She pokes a lot of fun at people - nothing at all malice, but it is an entertaining book.
