This collection of Darwin's most influential writings serves to give the reader an excellent sense not only of the ideas Darwin presented in his work, but also of the context in which his ideas were introduced.
Secord has beautifully selected the salient passages from Darwin's major works, providing a concise and enjoyable version of these books that have indisputably changed history.
