This is a classic of Science Fiction, but it is the kind of book that will interest even those who do not usually read Sci-Fi. I started reading it and took it everywhere I went. I could not put it down until I read it through to the end. It is full of surprises and the next surprise is never what you thought it would be. Great!

複数のナレーターによる朗読なのでメリハリが利いて聴きとりやすい仕上がりになっています。会話がナチュラルスピードで読まれている点など少し速めの印象を受けますが、標準米語でもあるので英会話ができればそれが障害になることはないと思います。構文は素直で、語彙も難しくはないです。ただ、ＳＦ的な用語は知っておく必要があります。情景描写や戦闘の様子もそれさえ押さえていればイメージを先行させて読むことができるのでこれも好材料だと思います。
