この４本パックは、友達の出産祝いに買いました。中に入っている４本とも私も買ったのですが、日本でお店で買うと４本で１万円以上してしまうので、絶対にお徳です。このシリーズは日本語版を買う意味はあまりないとおもうので、英語版で十分だと思いますよ！うちの子は４本の中ではシェークスピアが一番お気に入りで、これを見せている間は家事ができます！３ヶ月の頃から色々なビデオを試しましたが、最初から興味をもったのはこのシリーズだけでした。泣いていてもこれをかけると泣き止んだので助かりました！出産祝いには内容も値段もちょうど良いのでは？お勧めです！

I've purchased many baby einstein items, including books and toys--LOVE them. My baby LOVES them. Based on these we went ahead and got these DVDs: HATE them. My baby HATES them!
What happened?
I don't like this set because: I bought it hoping for English education for my child. There is hardly a spoken word of English in three of the four DVDs. The English that is spoken/sung is fast and sing-song-sleepy. We tried using the DVDs for bedtime--and it worked because our child cried himself to sleep.
My baby hated this set because: Most of the footage is of moving vintage toys set to music (I like vintage toys as much as the next guy, but COME ON!). The only time my son was engaged at all was in the shapes DVD because it's the only one of the four to actually mix things up with a view of children.
What did this series need? Hmm, how about mascots with voices? How about some sembilance of story? How about, I don't know--BABIES? I'm hugely disappointed in these DVDs and have no plans to get any of the later sets because if these are any indication then I'm better off with the toys, books, and whatever we happen to record on TV for our child.
