パトレイバー劇場版3作中
これが一番お勧めです!
劇場向きの重厚なシナリオと、
他2作では見られない壮快なレイバーアクションが見所!

コアなファンの方々はBlu-rayで購入済みかと思いますが、
レンタルで十分楽しんでた自分にはこの映画1回分の価格は本当に嬉しい限りです!迷わず注文しました!!

5.0 out of 5 stars 現代にも（いえ、現代にこそ）通ずる内容, 2009/10/17
劇場公開はもう、四半世紀程も前になるというのに、改めて今観返しても古さを感じさない
どころか、環境破壊やコンピュータ依存社会の危険性が度々問われる現代にあって、まさに
訴えかけてくるもののある重厚かつ極めてリアリティー溢れる世界観は、「アニメ」という
メディアの形態から食わず嫌いしている人たちにこそ観てもらいたいと切に願います。
それにしても、実際サイバー犯罪だの気候変化による（と思われる）異常気象だの、
東京湾の海のそこで帆場英一が嘲笑っているかのようです…。
かつてはビデオテープで5ケタに迫る価格だったこの作品が、ランチ2日分程度で、しかも
高画質・高音質・付加機能で手に入るなんて、果報は寝て待てとはこのことかしら…？

一つのシステムが事故を頻発し、信頼を失う。
その背後の事件を主人公たち“特車二課”が追求していく。
事件の真実と背後の動機はどこにあるのか？

この映画では事件の探索と同時に、
東京の風景がフィルムノワールのように映し出されていきます。
手描きなれどリアルな風景です。
高く乱立する人工物と破壊されていく古き存在の建物。
アニメではなく実写でやってみたらどうかとの論評もありましたが
実は昭和３０年代の町並みと今(８０年代)の東京の風景を組み合わせた
アニメの中の都市風景。
この都市風景の中に作業用ロボットが当たり前に存在している。
事件の内容も不思議ですが、この平行宇宙のような東京を観るだけでも必見。
そしてこの視点は犯人のそれと重なるのです。

都市と人間と機械のあり方を追求した傑作。
