前作「DLR　BAND」から５年振りのニュー・アルバムです。内容はカヴァー曲中心でビートルズ、ドアーズ、スティーヴ・ミラー・バンド、ジミ・ヘンドリックス、サヴォイ・ブラウンやブルースのカヴァーを収録し、自らの音楽のルーツを探った作品と言えそうです。ボーナストラックとして収録された２曲のカヴァー曲にナイル・ロジャース、エドガー・ウインター、グレッグ・ビソネットなど本編とは違うメンバーが参加しています。個人的にソロ初期のエンターテイナー路線を連想させ、ベストトラックです。全体的に楽しめる作品です。

Crazy From The Heatで聞かせてくれた、ビックバンドジャズーラスベガス版といった雰囲気に、ブルースとファンクをちょっと混ぜて、今流行のループも使ってみました。でもサウンドのゴージャスさとこの声はあくまであのデイブです。ヴァンへイレン時代の明るい楽しいハードロックはもう卒業？！年も年だしそれ相応にやっています。と言う感じか？カバー曲も多数収録ですが、それなりに物になっているところはさすがと言ったところか！

もう輝きもなく、将来的にも輝くこともないであろうダイアモンド。
かつてのあの活き活きとしたエンターテイナーの才気あふれる躍動感が全くなくなった。ダイアモンドデイブの名にロックを期待したが・・・

しかしながら、楽曲はそこそこ良く、それなりに年輪を重ねたミュージシャンとしての渋さがあるのは確か。ロックを期待は出来ないが、それなりの楽曲は詰まっている。
